House of Fountains is a 7000 sq. ft. Maui retreat showcasing real Hawaiian decor. Our Lahaina resort-quality accommodations provide a comfortable and hospitable atmosphere among the residents who know Maui best for a perfect Hawaiian vacation.

House of Fountains provides six convenient parking places on site and features six beautifully-appointed guest rooms. We also feature two expansive living rooms, each
furnished with authentic Hawaiian artifacts and beautifully hand-crafted items.

Inside, we showcase traditional artworks such as Royal Kahili standards, hand-carved bowls and implements, and a gleaming wood Canoe.

Our foyer brings you into the showpiece 1000 sq. ft. living room with rock fireplace and Koa wet bar. Look up and you’ll find models of a whale and dolphin gently floating from the ceiling, across from a hand-carved outrigger canoe. On the shelves and walls we display Hawaiian works of art and artifacts with descriptions about each item’s history and cultural usage. The living room opens onto a lanai (deck) with ocean views of the neighboring islands and Ka‘anapali Point.

BREAKFAST

Start each day with a Hawaiian-style breakfast, featuring fresh tropical fruits and juices, fresh- baked bread, bagels and muffins, cereals, yogurt, cheeses, and of course, fresh-brewed Kona coffee. Enjoy dining on our beautiful Koa table inside or on patio tables out on the lanai.

The lower level of the House of Fountains features a fully-equipped guest kitchen, giving you the opportunity to prepare your own lunch or dinner. Lounge in the downstairs living room and browse through our selection of novels, magazines, board games, videos and Hawaiian books. There is also an area where maps and implements from each corner of the Polynesian triangle are on display, depicting the migration routes of the ancient Polynesians. We offer a computer with Email service as well as a laundry facility.

In the backyard, relax by the swimming pool
or in the whirl pool spa surrounded by a tropical garden. We offer instruction in traditional Hawaiian crafts, such as weaving lauhala, and a welcoming ceremony with Hawaiian ‘awa (kava root mixture) in the
shade of our thatched roof hale (hut). House
of Fountains has also installed an imu (underground oven) where we can provide a lu‘au experience for our guests. We offer you the opportunity to learn what interests you most about the Hawaiian culture
and Maui in general.
